URMI – My life as a Hijra

URMI – is a poignant portrait film exploring the life of Urmi Jadhav, a trans activists and member of the ancient Hijra community in india. In the film Urmi recounts her upbringing and life in Mumbai and her journey of self-discovery and acceptance within a society that often marginalizes transgender individuals.
