The Gestapo chief

The Gestapo chief Fritz Bolle was one of the most feared men in Denmark during the German occupation. He was responsible for torture, imprisonment, and executions of resistance members, and his brutality left deep scars on the local population. He is perhaps the greatest war criminals in the region’s history, and the consequences of his actions are still felt today.

After the war, Bolle vanished without a trace, only to resurface years later in West Germany, where he was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
