Most Danes associate J.C.H. Ellehammer with the dream of aviation and his many daring attempts to be among the first in the skies. Yet this is only a small chapter in the story about his extraordinary and restless mind.

Driven by curiosity and an insatiable urge to innovate, Ellehammer devoted his life to invention. From early aviation technology, and motorcycles to electric vehicles and quirky inventions, his ideas reached far beyond the airfield. With more than 50 patents in Denmark and several hundred internationally, he remains one of the most prolific and versatile inventors the country has ever known.
