Deported

Towards the end of the German occupation of Denmark, a significant number of Danes were deported by the occupying forces to concentration camps in Germany. Among them were the communist Christian Brønnum from Hjørring, police officer Henry Jensen from Hals, and Jacob Madsen from Aalborg.

In this tv-series, journalist Michael Schmidt-Olsen teams up with historian Jens-Christian Hansen to reopen the archives and reconstruct the fate of three deported prisoners, the human cost and the horrors behind their deportation.
